Valérie Chevalier is an Associate Professor at the University of Brest (UBO). Her research until 2019 focused on the mechanical behaviour of endodontic instruments. Currently, she is exploring a new research topic on the stress experienced by students during endodontic procedures and especially vital pulp therapies. Her research methodologies are quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods, combining educational research with clinical research. The goal is to enhance student well-being and learning by promoting a moderate level of stress. Another objective of this research is the adoption of vital pulp therapy (VPT) by students.
