Prof. Frédéric Bukiet graduated from Aix-Marseille University in 1998. He then completed a three-year residency at the University of Paris (1998–2001) before returning to Marseille as a University Hospital Assistant Professor in Endodontics. During this time, he earned his Master’s degree (2002–2003) and established a private practice exclusively dedicated to Endodontics. In 2004, he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer and part-time Hospital Practitioner while continuing his daily endodontic practice. Since 2010, he has been a full-time teacher, researcher, and hospital clinician at Aix-Marseille University. His research led him to obtain a PhD in 2014, and in 2017, he was appointed Full Professor. He currently serves as the Director of the Postgraduate Endodontic Program at Aix-Marseille University. Prof. Bukiet has authored numerous publications in national and international journals. He is a certified member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), a member of its Clinical Practice Committee, and the Scientific Advisor of the French Society of Endodontology. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer for several journals and is an Associate Editor of the European Endodontic Journal.
