Dr. Careddu graduated with Honors from the University of Cagliari (Italy), where he also completed a Master’s program in Clinical Endodontics.
He later obtained a Diploma in Microendodontics from the University of Valencia (Spain).
Following this, he moved to Dublin (Ireland), where he balances clinical practice as an Endodontist in private practice and academic and research activity as a Senior Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).
In 2017, Dr. Careddu was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFD) by the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
He subsequently completed a six-year PhD program at Trinity College Dublin, with research focused on calcium silicate-based materials and vital pulp therapy.
Dr. Careddu is the author of numerous scientific publications and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
He currently serves as President of the Irish Endodontic Society (IES) and represents Ireland in the European Society of Endodontology (ESE).
