The 23rd ESE Biennial Congress 2027 will take place in the vibrant city of Rome, from September 8th to 11th, 2027.
Our home will be La Nuvola, the Roma Convention Center in EUR — a building that captures the spirit of this congress in architecture. The venue is one of the boldest structures in modern Rome: sustainable, adaptable and built for events on a grand scale. Ancient city, contemporary landmark — and, a short metro ride from the Colosseum, the past is never far.

How to reach La Nuvola – From Ciampino Airport (CIA):
Take a shuttle bus to Anagnina station on Metro Line A, ride Line A to Termini, then change to Metro Line B towards Laurentina and alight at EUR Fermi. By taxi, the journey takes approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
How to reach La Nuvola – From Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini (about 32 minutes), then change to Metro Line B towards Laurentina and alight at EUR Fermi. From there it is a short walk to the venue. Allow around one hour in total. By taxi, the journey takes approximately 30–45 minutes depending on traffic.

Take Metro Line B towards Laurentina and alight at EUR Fermi — about 8 stops from the centre. The venue is a short walk from the station.
