Dr. Nikita Ruparel is a Board-Certified Endodontist practicing in San Antonio at UT Faculty Endodontics. She serves as the Director of the Advanced Program in Endodontics at UT San Antonio. Dr. Ruparel earned both her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and PhD from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, followed by a certificate in Endodontics in 2013. Her clinical practice encompasses all aspects of modern endodontics, and she actively lectures at national and international meetings on topics including pain biology, pain management, and regenerative endodontics. She has also been awarded the Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching by UT San Antonio, Edward M. Osetek Award by the AAE, Women in Science award by the International Association of Dental Research and the American Association of Endodontics Educator Fellowship for committing her career to academics. She has served as the Vice-Program Chair, Program Chair, and General Chair for the American Association of Endodontics for a 3-year term. She enjoys academia and is committed to a long-term career as a clinician scientist and an educator.
