Josephine Brodén

Dr. Joséphine Brodén was born in 1979 in Aix-en-Provence, France. She is currently a full-time lecturer at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, where she contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education in endodontics and general dentistry. She graduated with a degree in dentistry from Malmö University in 2004 and completed postgraduate clinical training in endodontics in 2012. Her doctoral thesis, titled “Uncertainty in Endodontics: Strategies for Understanding and Management,” received Malmö University’s Dissertation of the Year award for 2022/2023. Her research explores strategies to better understand and manage uncertainty in treatment decisions. She serves on the Education and Scholarship Committee of the ESE
